You may have noticed that specific products say they’re "made to order" and wondered exactly what that means. For a lot of our products, we screen print the shirts, totes and home goods by hand in our studio in Southern Maryland. But instead of creating an insane back stock of products, we wait to print any products until a customer like you orders them!

Essentially made to order means the second you submit your order, we get to work on picking and screen printing the exact product you ordered by hand. Of course, this means there’s longer wait time for your products as it needs to be processed and then made by hand. But we think it's worth the wait for a process we believe in so wholeheartedly.

While this process keeps us from having to worry about how much product to stock and actually allows us to offer more designs for you to choose from - thats not even the best part. The best part is just how eco-friendly this process is. The truth is, we will always want fun new things, despite how toxic fast fashion truly is. But this made to order process puts the focus on demand before any supply even happens. We're happy to make all the products in the world for people who are going to love them. We're not happy to make stockpiles of products that don't sell for whatever reason and almost instantly become waste.

We also print most of our graphic tees on a brand we're quite fond of for their sustainable and human friendly products: Bella + Canvas. They use less energy and water, create less waste and are even made in the USA with no sweatshops. We're proud to use their shirts for our designs and it doesn’t hurt that their shirts are so unbelievably soft and perfect. A true win-win situation.

So while it may be a small inconvenience to have your product made to order, we hope you understand why this process is so important to us. What we sacrifice in speed and instant-gratification, we make up for in sustainability that makes Mother Nature smile.
